Samoth Iccatarf Sometimes, things go too fast, too far. Desecravity crosses the line, yet inspires respect by its sheer virtuosity, and also brief moments of inspiration. Favorite track: Stigmata.
Gokiburi

Gokiburi Musicality and expertise permeate every bar of this incredibly accomplished technical death metal. It's fast, frenetic and brutal, but there's always order to the chaos which keeps the album cohesive and interesting from start to finish. Most of the vocals are in the deeper range, but the inclusion of snarly, higher vocals really adds to the frenetic rawness. There's also a hint of the "jazziness" which would become more prominent in the band's next album, Anathema. Favorite track: Bloody Terpsichorean Art.
